Managing your account lists in Salesforce as Reports and keeping them synced with your N.Rich Segments.
This integration enables you to dynamically sync account lists from Salesforce into N.Rich workflows without manual CSV imports. It is especially useful for aligning campaign targeting with the latest CRM data, such as lists of active opportunities, ICP-fit accounts, or other filtered views.
This article is specific to the creation of workflows for report syncing with SFDC. For full instructions on how to integrate with Salesforce, please see our Integration Guide.
Create a Tabular Accounts report - only this type of Salesforce is supported as a source for a N.Rich segment.
Add the fields you need in the report builder.
Add the Account ID column. This is crucial for N.Rich to associate accounts correctly.
Full SFDC report building instructions: Build a Report in Lightning Experience
After building the report, click Save and then Run.
Name your report: For the integration to sync only relevant reports, your reports must use the prefix "N.Rich". To exemplify, the names should look like “N.Rich - Target Accounts for Q2” or “N.Rich - Existing Clients”.
Save it to a folder that can be shared.
Navigate to the Folders section on the Analytics tab.
Find the folder where the report you built was saved.
Click the dropdown icon next to the folder name and select Share.
Share it with the same Salesforce user that was used in the N.Rich - Salesforce integration process.
Grant the user Viewer or higher access. The Salesforce integration user must have access to the Report object. No reintegration is needed, simply ensure the right permissions are in place for the sync to work.
Complementary Salesforce Guides:
Once the report is shared and the permissions are granted as instructed, it may take up to 12 hours for it to become visible in N.Rich.
Go to the Workflows section.
Select the + Create Workflow.
Select CRM as the data source.
Choose Salesforce Reports as the account source.
Select the Salesforce report you built.
Choose a destination N.Rich segment.
Save the workflow.
The workflow will keep your segment synced with the accounts from the Salesforce report. Active Workflows are executed at least once per day.
N.Rich uses website domains to match an account in N.Rich to an account in Salesforce. Only accounts with an identifiable domain will be imported into N.Rich. Full details about domain mapping requirements can be found in our Salesforce Integration Guide.
