How does N.Rich decide an opportunity was influenced?

Last updated: October 9, 2026

N.Rich counts an opportunity as influenced when the account behind it engaged with your N.Rich ads. This definition is used by the Opportunity dashboard, Opportunity analytics and the Sales Velocity dashboard.

What counts as influence

An account in your CRM is influenced when it has at least one ad engagement:

  • a click on an Image display ad or a Cross-channel ad,

  • a video ad viewed for 20 seconds or more, or

  • an article ad scrolled past 50%.

An opportunity is influenced when its account has at least one of these engagements before and/or after the opportunity was created.

Pre- and post-opportunity influence

  • Pre-opportunity: the engagement happened before the opportunity was created in your CRM.

  • Post-opportunity: the engagement happened after the opportunity was created.

The Sales Velocity dashboard combines these into four groups: no influence, only pre-influenced, only post-influenced, and full-cycle (both before and after).

What you need
